Since August 2011, Professor Lewis has been the director of research & development at Biocompatibles UK Ltd. It is part of his 21 years of experience in R&D roles, including intellectual property portfolio management, technology transfer, experimental design, pre-clinical feasibility studies and regulatory studies. He has more than 160 scientific publications and is named on 36 patents in the fields of polymers, biomaterials and drug delivery.
