Shanghai Biomaterials Research & Testing Center
Professor Sun is the director of Shanghai Biomaterials Research & Testing Center, Ninth People's Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiaotong University. She is also the vice director of Chinese BME Biomaterials Committee and Chinese Dental Materials Association, and the editor for Chinese Dental Materials Association. Professor Sun is an expert of medical device biocompatibility designated by State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) in China and TÜV in Germany. She has been engaged in the research, evaluation and testing of medical devices or biomaterials safety over the past several decades. She has interests in the standardization and harmonization of biological evaluation for medical devices. Professor Sun has published more than 100 scientific papers related to the biocompatibility of biomaterials, e.g., in ACA Nano and Biomaterials.
